Advocating Elder Care

Loretto’s office of policy and program development is dedicated to advocating for the needs of its residents, program participants, employees and the greater Central New York community.

Loretto is a committed member of the New York Association of Homes & Services for the Aging (NYAHSA). Founded in 1961, NYAHSA represents not-for-profit, mission-driven and public continuing care providers, including nursing homes, senior housing, adult care facilities, continuing care retirement communities, assisted living and community service providers. NYAHSA's members employ 150,000 professionals serving more than 500,000 New Yorkers annually.
